We are called to provoke God’s people into

preparing for the Day of the Lord and finishing

the work of the Great Commission.

 

Our Mission

 

Founded in 1988 by John Mulinde, World Trumpet Mission has its roots in the jungles of Uganda, where travailing prayer during oppressive government dictatorships birthed a movement that brought about the transformation of the whole nation. It has grown to be an international, interdenominational ministry with a global mission and mandate to ‘blow the trumpet’ of the impending Day of the Lord, awakening and equipping the Church, and provoking them to finish Christ’s mission to the nations.

 

What is the justification for this Mission?

 

a. The impending Day of the Lord with the trials and trappings of the last days.

b. The state and plights of the nations under the suffocating darkness covering human society everywhere.

c. The sorry state of the Church that is in slumber in many parts of the world.

d. God’s end time agenda.

e. Global shakings – Heb.12:12/Joel 3:14.

f. End-time outpouring of His Spirit worldwide – Joel 2:28.

g. God’s end-time army to gather and bring in the Harvest – Joel 2:1-2/3:9-14.

 

WTM's Vision

 

Our vision is to see “All nations discipled and the global church prepared for the Day of the Lord.”  

 

Nations are people-groups with common identity and common destiny. Such identity is categorized according to:

a. Common territory

b. Common language

c. Common ethnicity

d. Common demographics

 

Global Church is the universal community of believers in Jesus Christ in all their different denominations and faith camps. It is

based on the understanding that the Body of Christ is one, regardless of:

a. Differences in worship style

b. Doctrinal emphases

c. Biblical interpretations

d. Even degree of error or shortcomings (John 10:16)

 

What compels us to do what we do?

 

Awareness that the hour is late and that with every passing moment someone is crossing the line of no return, beyond repentance, into a path of destruction that will rob them of eternal inheritance. We are therefore compelled to a

lifestyle of:

 

•  Missions reaching out to God’s people in all possible ways, to win souls that need to be won to Christ, and to revive those in Him that have grown lukewarm.

•  Prayer, intercession and supplications for the Holy Spirit to be poured out to revive God’s people and advance God’s

Kingdom.

•  Spiritual warfare, battling against the forces of darkness that hold people and territories captive, in order to set captives

free.

•  Giving generously towards Missions and the Gospel knowing that whatever we have is for fulfilling God’s purposes; a time is coming when all will lose value!

 

What are the themes of our Mission?

 

• Awakening through evangelism and spiritual renewal.

• Equipping through training, discipling and mentoring.

• Provoking to destiny - from individuals to all levels of corporate destiny and into all demographics and spheres of society.

 

What is WTM’s Mandate?

 

Our mandate is global! The Lord sent us primarily to the Body of Christ worldwide (to awaken, equip and provoke Christians into destiny) and then to the nations, where we act with the rest of the Body of Christ to disciple all nations (Mat.28:18-20.) Both approaches are supposed to prepare the way for the coming King.
